Kaiwei Wang and Kailun Yang in ROBIO2018

    2018 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (IEEE ROBIO) was held in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 12-15 December 2018. Kaiwei Wang and PhD student Kailun Yang attended the conference.

    In the conference, Kailun Yang made two oral presentations of papers “Intersection perception through real-time semantic segmentation to assist navigation of visually impaired pedestrians” “Perception framework of water hazards beyond traversability for real-world navigation assistance systems”, which were in collaboration with College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University (China) and Department of Electronics of University of Alcalá (Spain).
